The British Organ Blowing Company was founded in 1932 and manufactured quiet running fans for the blowing of church pipe organs. They then branched out into the industrial market. The Company had, for many years, produced blowers in direct driven form with various impeller types and blade shapes, a large proportion of which were with cast aluminium cases, and have provided "made to measure" centrifugals for a wide variety of O.E.M. applications.

Gordon Stevenson & Company had been active in the application of forced and induced draught fans, together with high temperature exhaust fans for boilers. Grit arresters were also supplied for specific applications where a complete package was offered.

William Alldays under the ‘ALCOSA’ brand name bring the well proven range of RB Series centrifugals, incorporating Radial Blade Impellers, and the BI Series, incorporating Backward Inclined Impellers to the product range. Both ranges being well tried and tested and accepted by the industry.

Flamgard has, since 1981, been designing, developing and manufacturing high quality Fans in Stainless Steel which are used extensively in industrial, off-shore, petrochemical, marine and nuclear ventilation systems.

The acquisition of Turngrove Fans has added the ‘TURNGROVE’ range of standard bifurcated and axial flow fans. Also in the Turngrove range are fans, which are designed for the handling of contaminated air, gases, fumes and smoke in four temperature ranges up to 315ºC.

In order to expand the range of products that B.O.B. Stevenson Ltd. can offer to its customers, the Company entered into an agreement with Piller Ventilatoren GmbH of Germany. Under this agreement, B.O.B. Stevenson manufactures many of the Piller range of standard ‘Apovent’ fans in Britain.
